Everything seemed perfect, extremely friendly staff, reasonably spacious rooms. The location in a very convenient area was nice and perfect. Visited few places in the center, a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The service was excellent in my opinion.

The Japanese-style room with tatami at Guesthouse Rico was absolutely beautiful. I felt like I was staying in a traditional Japanese home, and it gave me a sense of calm and relaxation. As a business guest, it was the perfect escape from the busy city life.
The only downside for me was the bunk beds in the dormitory rooms. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I can see how others might find it fun and cozy.

The bunk beds with curtains, lights, and sockets were a game-changer for privacy and convenience. The cozy and stylish bar, lounge, and common areas were perfect for socializing. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making me feel right at home. The aesthetic of the place was visually pleasing. The free shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers were a pleasant surprise. The convenience of a fridge and microwave on the same floor as the rooms, along with a functioning kitchen downstairs, made my stay even more enjoyable. The comfortable pillows and the cleanliness of the whole place were much appreciated. The location was ideal, with easy access to transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. The friendly staff even helped me navigate the area. I also loved the traditional public bathhouse just across the street. The internet was reliable, allowing me to stream Netflix and YouTube without any issues. All of this for an excellent value made my stay at this guesthouse unforgettable.

I recently stayed at Guesthouse Rico and had a fantastic experience! The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, providing helpful recommendations and assistance. The highlight was the rooftop barbecue, which created a great atmosphere for guests and locals to connect. The decor is stylish, the location is convenient, and the amenities like WiFi and AC were reliable. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a washing machine. The owner's restaurant on the ground level added to the cozy ambiance. I would definitely return!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of Guesthouse Rico. The warm hardwood walls and floors, along with the old furniture, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It reminded me of staying in a traditional Japanese home. The general areas of the hotel were also spacious and easy to navigate, making it suitable for senior people like myself. the hotel's location was convenient, with nearby restaurants and shops within walking distance.
I would have appreciated if the children working there could provide more senior-friendly amenities or services.

The staff at this guesthouse are incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They allowed us to check in early and even shared some birthday cake with me. The reception area is also great, with comfortable armchairs to relax in.
We felt very lucky during our stay at this guesthouse, as there was truly nothing to complain about.

The staff at the guesthouse were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for things to do and see in the area. The guesthouse had a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, making it easy to meet and connect with other travelers. The location of the guesthouse was ideal, with easy access to public transportation and a nice café nearby.
The city itself was a bit dull, but the staff at the guesthouse were able to make recommendations to make the most of the area. The slippers provided in the room seemed old and worn out, which made me a bit hesitant to wear them.

The kitchen area was in need of refurbishment and had a bad smell. the price was higher than expected compared to other places we stayed in Japan.
